About the Major

The Food & Nutritional Sciences System course delves into different aspects of dietary life underlying human survival, enhances productivity for the advancement of families and the country, and contributes to the national physique and health as well as scientific dietary life management.

While exerting efforts for human education via liberal units, we offer basic and major units balancing theories with experiments and practices with the intent to develop students into competent experts with leaders specializing in establishing changing mechanisms of nutrients following food intake in vivo and improving overall dietary life and foodservice management. Major units include nutritional sciences, lifecycle nutritional sciences, dietary life management and practicum, food and principles of food preparation and practicum, clinical nutritional science,·dietotherapy and practicum, group foodservice management and practicum, nutrition education and practicum, nutritional assessment and practicum, through which students are qualified to become researchers or nutritionists in their major fields.
