Step by step training and consulting sessions help students develop, seek out and determine their career paths. Moreover, SWU closely analyzes and informs students of the job market trends, and gives opportunities to obtain real world experience and pursue self-development through the industry-university collaboration.

Career Assitance Program Plus (CAP+)
CAP+ assists younger students to seek out and design their career paths in a self-directed way by training them to make rational decisions by having them, especially those who have no idea of what they are interested in and what they want to do, to go out engage in diverse activities.
- When : During school holidays and semesters, 4 days weekly (24 hours in total)
- Who : Freshmen~juniors, 15~20 students
- What : Self-understanding, career navigation, business information search, decision-making practice, paperwork for employment, image making and interviewing and interview simulation
R-PANG, a base camp for career paths
R-PANG guides freshmen wondering how to cope with college life to contemplate their strengths and weaknesses, uniqueness and competencies, to plan how to further such competencies, and to learn what to do on campus for their future career paths.

C3+, Designing career paths with in-service mentors
C3+ program invites students (freshmen to seniors) who have not defined clear career goals to meet in-service job mentors in order to seek out jobs and occupations and enhance competencies for employment opportunities.

- Who : 30 students
- What : Searching occupations and job competencies, Super mentor K, Career portfolio design etc.
SWCD Academy, Internship during school holidays
SWCD Academy represents SWU’s industry-university programs (internship) intended to enhance students’ competencies for employment opportunities, infuse them with proper occupational consciousness, and inform students of job competencies required in the field and how to gain them.
- When : 2 months, summer/winter holidays
- Preliminary session : Business manner, paperwork, information processing and conversation with seniors in charge of different jobs
- Hands-on experience : Having hands-on job experiences as interns at chosen companies during school holidays
- On-site visit : The Employment Career Development Team visits the sites to check the work environment of interns and address any challenges
Career Coaching
The career coaching is a job training program for students to develop competencies for their desired jobs (currently flight attendants and secretaries) with the help of experts from different industries.

- When : 1st and 2nd semesters
- Time : 12 sessions, 3 hours per session
- Attendees: 20
- Goal : To acquire manners and know-hows required of flight attendants in preparation for interviews at airlines
- Program title: Secretary Course
- When : 1st and 2nd semesters
- Time : 7~10 session, 3 hours/session
- Attendees : 30
- Goal : To improve business adaptability of secretaries and office clerks
Hands-on job training program
To help students to clearly understand diverse jobs, and to present how to prepare for certain job opportunities, this program involves personnel/training, sales/sales mgmt, marketing, PR, ad, finance/accounting courses.
- When : 1st and 2nd semesters, 15h/course
- Who : Enrolled students, students on a leave of absence and graduates, 40/course
- Curriculum : Personnel/training, sales/sales mgmt, marketing, PR, ad, finance/accounting, etc.
- Outcomes : To increase the understanding of practical knowledge and jobs, and to acquire accurate information about job selection
Competence enhancement training program
This program enhances basic job competencies to increase employment opportunities, offering marketing analyst, business excel, service manager, and speech & PT courses.

- Who : Enrolled students and graduates, 40/course
- Benefits : Students may earn private certificates

Data about jobs, schools and certificates
Students can view the data in the library (digital job info lounge on the 1st floor, and language & literature materials room (2nd floor job section). Books on jobs, schools and certificates are well-organized for the convenience of users.
Career and job counseling & consulting on paperwork/interviews
Employment support system(job.swu.ac.kr) → applying for counseling → selecting a desired counselor → selecting appointment date → filling counseling type and content → booking → visiting the Employment Career Development Team in time
- Counselors and consultants are staff members of the Employment Career Development Team.
- Counselors and consultants ①guide clients to set up career paths via self-exploration, ②inform clients of jobs and job market trends, ③guide clients to check current preparedness for career paths as part of career management, and ④advise on paperwork or interviews.
